Fees & Sliding Scale
Honest fees, no surprises
I believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to receiving quality care. My practice operates on a pay-what-you-can model — meaning your session fee is something we decide together, based on your current financial reality.

Why weekly sessions matter
Weekly sessions create the consistency that allows real momentum to build. When we meet regularly, each session picks up where the last left off — there is a living thread between appointments, and your insights, emotions, and growth have somewhere to go. Progress compounds. The relationship deepens. You begin to notice change not just in session, but in your daily life.
When sessions are spaced too far apart, that momentum can stall. Time between appointments fills with new stress and distraction, and we spend energy catching up rather than moving forward. Showing up weekly is one of the single most powerful things you can do to support your own growth.
Current Fee Schedule
Please read each description and select the tier that honestly reflects your current financial situation. We will confirm your rate together in our first session.
Standard Rate
$150per session
You are financially comfortable and cost is not a significant consideration in your decision to pursue therapy. This rate is also recommended for clients who have progressed in their work and moved from weekly to biweekly or monthly sessions, honoring the depth of the therapeutic relationship at any frequency.
The $150 rate applies to all new clients for the intake session. Your negotiated rate takes effect from the second session onward.
- Most common
Supported Rate
$130per session
Your basic needs are met and your income is reasonably stable, and you approach your finances with care and mindfulness. You may be working toward goals like paying down debt or building savings. If weekly attendance is important to you and you are being thoughtful about where your money goes, this rate is designed to make that consistency possible — so your commitment to the work and your financial mindfulness can coexist comfortably.
Community Rate
$110per session
You are living within a carefully managed budget, navigating financial constraints such as variable income, student debt, medical expenses, childcare costs, or other significant obligations. You are committed to doing this work and showing up consistently — and this rate exists to honor that commitment. Your presence and engagement matter far more than the number on the invoice.
Setting Your Fee
How it works
01
During your first session
We'll take a few minutes to talk openly about finances and land on a fee that works for both of us. This conversation is confidential and free of judgment — just two people finding common ground before the real work begins.
02
Your fee stays consistent
Once agreed upon, your rate remains the same for the duration of our work together — no surprises, no renegotiating each session. You can budget with confidence and focus on the work itself.
03
Annual fee schedule review
A new fee schedule is published each year. Any changes are communicated well in advance, giving you time to plan. Existing clients will always have ample notice before any adjustment takes effect. If your financial situation changes significantly, please bring that to our conversation.
Payment and insurance
I am currently a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
FSA and HSA accounts can be used for therapy — I'm happy to set that up if you'd like to use one.
